Competitions are an excellent idea as they provide activity with a clear goal.

Competitions can be held within your own club or for the more able there are national competitions for young collectors. Often local societies and stamp fairs will stage competitions which have junior sections.

The British National Youth Championships are held at Autumn Stampex and are designed for more experienced juniors who have competed previously in Stamp Active or county competitions and are developing their collections.
