The Beatles on stamps

1st Class - With The Beatles
With The Beatles was released in 1963, and has a mix of original songs and cover versions including, appropriately, “Please Mr Postman”.

1st Class - Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
This 1967 Peter Blake designed album cover epitomizes the surreal days of the so-caalled 'Summer of Love.' It was also the first album ever to have lyrics printed on the back.

64p - Help!
This album is home to some true classics like “Ticket To Ride”, “You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away” and, slipped onto the B-side, “Yesterday” – one of the most covered songs of all time.

64p - Abbey Road
One of The Beatles most famous images appears on the cover of Abbey Road (their final studio album), showing the Fab Four walking across the zebra crossing outside the studio. Recorded in 1969, it features two of George Harrison’s most loved songs: “Here Comes The Sun” and “Something”.

72p - Revolver
Released in 1966, Revolver is renowned as The Beatles groundbreaking album, frequently voted by fans as the best ever. Manfred Mann’s bass player (at the time), Klaus Voorman, is responsible for the legendary cover-art.

72p - Let it be
Even though it was recorded before Abbey Road, Let It Be wasn’t released until 1970 along with the film of the same name – both went on sale after The Beatles had disbanded.
